Found this site looking for a book Amazon did not have. Believe it. Will definitely be buying from again solely because it's prettier, and gives book hunting it's due reverence. (Also wanted to try out my new linking superpower)

what book?
a condensed version of The Thousand Nights and One Night (Arabian Nights?) that was published in Paris in the 1920's. The illustrations are better. I was thinking of getting it for my culture starved daughter for her b-day. That or the 2nd season of charmed. Any thoughts?
hm. is it the maxfield parrish version? I have a VERY abridged copy that I wouldn't suggest for a serious reader. but the illustrations are so lush that it's almost worth it.
