Is it too early to put out decorations?

great idea, sorry to rip it off (just this once)

Eric admitted freely on his blog recently his embarrassing devotion to finding music through t.v. commercials. Also a fan of this mode,and inspired by The Humanist, I did some digging and found the catchy song from a Target commercial that I can't get out of my head. The only lyrics are "a little bit more" sang repeatedly over a superfunky beat. Turns out Jamie Lidell is a superfunky white guy and the song has more lyrics, joy!

been car shopping

Over the years I've had a few "dream cars". When I was 9, it was all about Cindi Mancini's white cabriolet in the movie Can't Buy Me Love. The car was practically a main character. Google "cant buy me love cabrio" and you will stumble on various blogs where chicks profess their devotion to the vehicle because of the 1987 flick. In 6th grade I was determined to own a Spider Fiat without ever having seen one simply because the Wakefield twins shared one. (fun little quiz) Then, I couldn't wait to turn 16 when I planned to buy a 1966 red Mustang convertible and run away from home to Hollywood where I would become a famous starlet. (yeah, that worked out) Everyone knows my favorite of late has been this little guy. Obviously the fact that I live in a town where it is winter nine months out of the year hasn't had much influence toward more practical choices. I like what I like. My monthly horoscope from Astrologyzone.com, which is the most respectable site of it's kind, says this for September:

"You may receive a check due to you, hear about a raise, or be offered a new job. It's also possible that you will have to pay a large bill or that an expense you had not anticipated will come up. The best way this full moon may work out is that you will buy something madly expensive that you've wanted a long time. Cross your fingers that it's the latter! "

Needless to say... I bought something today that is mad expensive, that I've wanted for a long time. Don't get too excited, it's not the Mini.
